What is Picosure?

Picosure is the first and only picosecond aesthetic laser that’s been cleared by the FDA to help remove tattoos and reveal clearer skin, faster.

The main benefit of using Picosure instead of other tattoo removal laser procedures is the speed at which the tattoo is removed as well as its ability to target difficult-to-remove inks like blues and greens.

How does Picosure work?

The picosecond technology works by administering really short picosecond pulses of energy into the affected area. This produces a photomechanical effect, otherwise known as a PressureWave, that targets the inked skin while not impacting unmarked skin.

This breaks up the ink, shattering it into tiny particles that your body can easily eliminate.

What is Picosure laser good for?

Picosure is good and is primarily used for faster and more effective tattoo removal, however, it can also be used for benign pigmented lesions, acne scars, wrinkles, and as a skin revitalization treatment.
